Baso Iwang, PhD, is a Lecturer at the Economics Department, Faculty of Economics and Islamic Business, UIN Alauddin Makassar. He holds a Bachelor of Economics and a Master of Science (M.Si), both from Hasanuddin University in Makassar, and Ph.D in the field of Development Economics Studies, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia in 2015. Gautam Makwana, MSW, is a Social Scientist & IEC Member at the Institute of Teaching and Research in Ayurved – Gujarat Ayurved University, India, with multidisciplinary expertise in social work, psychology, gerontology, and health sciences. He holds a MSW degree and is pursuing a PhD. in Social Work at Mizoram University with a focus on geriatric care and Gerontological social work. An editorial board member and reviewer for several Scopus and Web of Science-indexed journals, he has published extensively on aging, mental health, disability, and social development. Hishomudin Ahmad, PhD, is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Major Language Studies, Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia. He holds a PhD in Arabic Linguistic Studies and specialises in literary criticism, Qur’anic stylistics, Arabic linguistics, semantic analysis, and corpus-based language studies. Husyairi Harunarashid, MB.BCh.BAO, MClinEpid, is a clinical epidemiologist and is currently the head of the Health Informatics Center, Hospital Canselor Tuanku Muhriz, UKM. He has collaborated with the Institute of Malaysian & International Studies (IKMAS), UKM in various projects on social inclusion and policy studies since 2015. His current interests include AI Ethics, Sovereign Accountable Data and AI Practice and the optimal application of data and artificial intelligence in improving efficiency at public healthcare institutions. Norzulaili Mohd Ghazali, PhD, is a Senior Lecturer at the Faculty of Quranic and Sunnah Studies, Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia. She holds a PhD in Quran and Sunnah Studies and specialises in Qur’anic and Hadith studies, contextual meaning analysis, ontology-based Hadith research, and psycho-spiritual approaches based on Islamic texts. Her research focuses on semantic and contextual analysis of Hadith, Qur’anic discourse, ontology extraction models, and the application of Qur’an and Sunnah in contemporary social and psychological issues. Zaharul Abdullah, PhD, is a Senior Lecturer at the Asia-Europe Institute, Universiti Malaya. Prior to joining Universiti Malaya, he served as a lecturer in political science at Universiti Sains Malaysia, a lecturer in policy studies at Universiti Malaysia Terengganu, and a teaching fellow at Universiti Putra Malaysia. He also previously served as a research officer and later as a research associate at the Academy of Professors Malaysia. Zaharul obtained his PhD in political economy of development from the Institute of Malaysian and International Studies (IKMAS), Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. His research interests include China–Southeast Asia relations, United States–China relations, regionalism and regionalization, the Belt and Road Initiative, and the role of the state in development. In addition to his academic and research activities, Zaharul has actively written commentary pieces on current political and international affairs for Malaysian media platforms such as Berita Harian, Malaysiakini, and Sinar Harian.
